So I happened to catch a bit of Jon Stewart’s Daily Show last night (he came on after Futurama, which was on in the background while I was sending online submissions), and I was shocked to see he must have been reading my blog posts, tweets (not “tweeds” as my phone keeps trying to autocorrect it; darn thing knows autocorrect, though), facebook updates, and even my personal emails.

How do I know this? Simply because he’s organizing a rally in support of “sane conversation,” and I’ve been using that word a lot lately. I’ve sprinkled it here and there, cast it to the four winds, thought it up without the benefit of programming and bullet points. So where else would he get the word “sane” from if not from me? It’s not in any dictionary of American English I know (no need to go look it up, just trust me).

That evil, liberal pig has been using my ideas. Sanity was a good idea when I thought of it, but, now that he’s using it, sanity is just another word for oppression. Sanity is the liberal attempt to silence everyone who disagrees with them. “Them”? THEM. Them. Ahem, that’s better.

(Please note the Colbert-esque use of extreme sarcasm in this post. And laugh — please try to laugh. Go ahead, give it a try. It will do you good.)
